The Mirror Method

A guide to seeing your brand, and yourself, clearly.

The Mirror Method™ began as a quiet realisation.

After years of designing brands for founders, creatives and independent businesses, I noticed that the most powerful work never started with colour palettes or logos. It started with clarity. With people understanding who they are, what they stand for, and what makes them different in a way that feels true rather than constructed.

The Mirror Method is my attempt to bottle that moment.

This book distils the inner part of my brand process... the conversations, questions, reframes and perspective shifts that help people see themselves, and therefore their brands, more clearly. It’s not a template or a formula. It’s a guided reflection experience designed to move from noise to truth, from surface to substance, from performance to presence.

Visually, the book mirrors the philosophy. Black and white imagery, generous space, restrained typography and a gentle rhythm invite stillness and focus. It feels closer to a coffee table book or creative journal than a traditional “workbook”, intentionally resisting corporate language or rigid structures. The design creates room... for thought, for honesty, for intuition.

Structurally, the method moves inwards before moving outwards. It begins with intention, roots the reader in truth, uncovers their distinct perspective and values, clarifies who they are here for, and only then brings everything together into a cohesive brand essence. The work is emotional as much as strategic, because alignment isn’t just a business tool... it’s a creative and personal one too.

This project sits at the intersection of my design, strategy and creative direction work. It’s the philosophy behind the studio made tangible. A way for people to experience the thinking, not just see the outcomes.

The Mirror Method isn’t about inventing a brand. It’s about uncovering one that was already there.
