Common questions

It’s normal to have questions.

I’m always happy to help so if you have a question which isn’t answered here, please get in touch.

Couples typically choose to have me play before and during their ceremony, and then for up to two hours at their drinks reception.
Yes no problem, as long as it's in tune of course! I'll bring my own digital piano as a back up, just in case.
If you're having your wedding day all in one venue, of course! If your ceremony and reception are in different locations, I wouldn't recommend having me play at both unless one of the venues already has their own piano. The chances are that your guests will arrive quicker than I can pack up my piano, transport it, and set it up at another location.
I can play for a maximum of three hours, and this is typically made up of one hour for the ceremony, and two hours for your drinks reception.
I’m based in Blackburn in the North West of England (UK), and have played all around the world. I'm happy to travel anywhere in the country or abroad for your wedding (logistics permitting). Travel is included up to 30 miles from Blackburn, anything further than this is charged at 50p per mile. Dependent upon how exotic your location is, I may also need to book accommodation and hire equipment for your day.
I'm happy to arrange up to four songs for your ceremony, and couples typically choose a mood and theme for their drinks reception and select songs from my song list in preparation for their day. I'll then put together a flowing set list based on your chosen songs.
No problem! I'm happy to take requests from your guests so long as this fits with your desired mood and style for the day (and that it's something that I can comfortably play at short notice).
Short answer, no. Long answer, I've found that the piano is better suited to a more relaxed, background music style rather than the party starter, dancefloor filler vibe most people want for their evening receptions.
Yes, I have public liability insurance, and all of my equipment is fully insured and PAT tested (as requested by most venues).
I request a £200 non-refundable deposit to secure your date, with the remaining amount due at least 14 days before your wedding date.

About me

From then, to now…

After asking for piano lessons at the age of six, I knew straight away that I’d found my passion. Just ten years later, I’d achieved a distinction in my Grade 8 piano exam.

As well as playing around the world in Paris, Belgium, Los Angeles and more, I’ve been the resident pianist at numerous venues (most recently at Harvey Nichols in Manchester).

By day, I create brands and websites for visionary entrepreneurs, and on evenings and weekends, there’s nothing I love more than playing and listening to music.
